Quokka Money Privacy Policy

Effective November 5, 2026.

The short version

Quokka Money stores your books on your device and nowhere else. We do not have an account system, we do not collect analytics, and we do not sell or share your data, because we do not have it.

What stays on your device

Your businesses, transactions, categories, and notes.
Receipt photos you attach to transactions.
Your settings, including app lock preferences.

What we do not collect

No account or sign-in, so no name, email, or password is collected by the app.
No analytics or crash reporting that captures transaction descriptions, amounts, category names, business names, notes, or attachments.
No bank or card connections of any kind, so no financial credentials ever touch the app.

Exports and backups

When you export a ledger or back up your data, the file goes only where you choose to send it, through the iOS share sheet or Files app. Files shared outside the app are controlled by the destination you select.

Children

Quokka Money is a business bookkeeping app intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
